Beginnings
When I opened edomasa in November, 1989… my goal was to create a friendly and roomy atmosphere, where only the most delicious sushi and sashimi was served.
My passion for using only the finest quality of fresh ingredients has made edomasa a success for nearly 30 years. Please come in, be our guest and enjoy!
Philosophy
Seasonality and support of our local community are central to our philosophy at edomasa.
My love for the surrounding land and ocean stems from my early years in Fukuoka, Japan, and is the underlying source of inspiration for our menus at edomasa. Our seafood is harvested fresh from the waters. Herbs and garnishes are foraged from the Santa Barbara coastline whenever possible.
